Massage has been proven to reduce blood pressure in a healthy person suffering from an increase in blood pressure due to stress (Aourell et al .,2005). 30 minutes of massage therapy received twice per week over 5 weeks has been shown to reduce lower back pain, sleep disturbance, depression, anxiety, distress, pain associated with rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia (Field et al ., 2007).

Swedish

The technique involves mechanically activating muscular tissue, skin, tendons, fascia, and connected tissue, which controls the autonomic nervous system (Aourell et al .,2005). Swedish massage benefits are increased muscle strength, improve range of motion, stretch connective tissues and loosen tight muscles, reduce cramps, muscle spasms and muscle fatigue.

Deep Tissue



Extend and unlock the persisting, incorrect tensions, in the most effective and energy-efficient manner’’(Majchrzycki et al ., 2014). The benefits are stress relief, breaks up scar tissue, reduces chronic pain and improve blood pressure.  Massage has been proven to reduce the intensity of the pain and improve functionality in patients who suffer from chronic Lumbosacral pain. (Furlan et al ., 2002; Bell, 2008).
